🎼 Compositional Work
Alongside her scholarly and journalistic career, Luisa Antoni is also active as a composer, with a particular focus on works that explore the dialogue between sound, silence, and language. Her compositions often draw inspiration from philosophical and literary sources, embracing both traditional notation and experimental forms.
In 2024, she released the album Fruscii risuonanti (“Resonant Rustlings”), a collection of original pieces for solo piano and small ensembles. The project blends acoustic textures, extended techniques, and moments of quiet introspection, reflecting a personal and meditative approach to contemporary composition. The album has been appreciated for its refined sonic palette and its philosophical depth, resonating with listeners interested in the intersection of music, space, and thought.
Her compositional output includes music for piano, voice, chamber ensembles, and occasional electroacoustic explorations, performed in both concert settings and interdisciplinary contexts.
